On the new single "MASK", Death Machine draws on various references. There are hip-hop elements combined with dark synths and crooked guitar pieces. This kind of mixture unites Death Machine's classic dusty sound with a more open expression. This duality is supported in the lyrics, where the focal point is a desire to break with loneliness, but at the same time not be able to truly love. These contradictory feelings take the narrator hostage in an infinite interaction between loneliness and superficial affairs.

Death Machine's upcoming album is expected in October 2019.
