Death Machine are releasing their new single ‘UP’ on the 27th of August.
The song is about daring to put yourself on the line, to step into the limelight. It’s a direct reference to singer and frontman of Death Machine, Jesper Mogensen, doubting himself as a songwriter and musician.


Death Machine’s lyrics are often about the frail mind of humans, but it is through these songs that Jesper finds the courage to believe in himself and to work with his anxiety. In that light the name Death Machine can seem odd. Can a Death Machine be a construction that evolves you?

Their new song is energetic, fast-paced and quite danceable. It is about daring to step into the limelight and refers to Jesper’s own struggle with stage fright as well as finding the courage to be himself. Death Machine have been highly praised in Denmark with more than 1200 radio airplays and numerous positive reviews.
